What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Claims Manager to join our Claims team. This position leads and provides managerial oversight to Claims Processing Supervisors and Assistants. The Claims Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of all claims, the appropriate data elements required to process claims accurately, and reporting and analysis of claims data. Trillium department’s work together to resolve issues, working cross-departmentally to resolve claims issues is no exception. In addition, the Claims Manager may work with providers to address billing issues.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Assure daily reports are generated for Claim Processing staff to work.
  • Ensures analysis, research and corrections of claims are completed in a timely manner to ensure provider payments.
  • Provide assistance in developing and maintaining claim processing procedures and ensuring these procedures are understood and followed by claims staff.
  • Work alongside the IT department to help resolve claim processing issues from a technical standpoint.
  • Work with providers to help resolve claim processing issues.

Qualifications: 

Required Education/Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year experience with extensive claims filing and data reporting.

OR

A two (2) year degree and three (3) years’ experience with extensive claims filing and data reporting.

OR

High School diploma and five (5) years’ experience with extensive claims filing and data reporting.

OR

Equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.   

Preferred Experience: Supervisory experience of two or more employees is preferred.

 

License/Certification: None

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status
