Virtual Assistant (Excel Specialist)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Excel Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced Excel functionalities to analyze data, create reports, and streamline processes across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate complex data sets, develop custom formulas, and create dynamic spreadsheets.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in automating and systematizing within Excel
  • Develop and customize sheets and reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Update and maintain existing in spreadsheets, databases, or other software systems data as needed, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze large data sets using Excel's advanced features, including pivot tables, macros, and data visualization tools
  • Collaborate with other virtual assistants and team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide training and support to team members on Excel best practices, tips, and tricks
  • Follow the managers directives on day to day tasks
  • Provide assistance with other tasks, as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience working with advanced Excel functionalities in a professional setting
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX-MATCH, and macros
  • Experience creating complex formulas and performing data analysis using Excel
  • Experience with other data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Must speak English fluently
