Interns will participate in the landscape and change-readiness assessment of the death penalty policy in Pennsylvania by identifying the beliefs, knowledge base, policy, and practice regarding capital punishment. Subjects include elected officials, other community leaders, and organizations.

If you are seeking academic credit or community service hours, please ensure that these hours meet the organization's requirements.

Requirements:

  • flexibility/reliability/tenacity
  • Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
  • Ability to differentiate between Googling and conducting research

Interns can work in Allegheny, Dauphin, Philadelphia, Washington, or York County. Applicants may also work in a 100% virtual environment, provided they can access appropriate and reliable connections via PC or MAC. Cell phones are not adequate.

This unpaid internship complies with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requirements.
