GIS Internships

The National Park Service (NPS) in partnership with Southern Utah University (SUU) offers GIS internships at National Parks across the country. Job duties, location, and pay vary. More info on here.

These opportunities are for: Applicants who have obtained or are pursuing a GIS degree or certificate and/or with GIS work experience are preferred. Applicants must also be enrolled at an institution of higher education or within two years post-graduation. Hiring preference given to current or recent Southern Utah University (SUU) students. Prior to starting this position, a federal government security background clearance will be required. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.
