Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media marketing and a keen understanding of how to engage and grow our online audience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our brand's online presence and drive awareness, engagement, and sales through various social media channels. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to promote our brand, products/services, and events across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience using Canva
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to engage with our audience in real-time
  • Manage the social media content calendar, scheduling posts, and ensuring consistent posting frequency and timing
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and KPIs to track the performance of social media campaigns and initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to inform future strategies
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community and brand loyalty
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging social media platforms and technologies, and recommend innovative strategies to enhance our social media presence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a small business or startup environment
  • Proven track record of creating compelling social media content and campaigns that drive engagement, traffic, and conversions
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, with a focus on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for storytelling, visual storytelling, and building authentic connections with our audience
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing trends is a plus
