We are looking for a social media marketer to work on our business development team. 
 

As a Social Media Marketer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and client conversion for our company. Your role will involve creating compelling content, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools to maximize our online presence. This is a paid position. 

 

Eligibility

  1. Currently pursuing or completed a degree in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism, business, or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of many social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and their respective audiences. 
  3. Past experience in social media marketing, either through internships, club/organization brand building, or personal projects. 
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  5. Analytical and research skills needed to stay up to date with current social media trends. 
  6. Brief knowledge of SEO principles and social media algorithms.
  7. Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer is preferred, but not required. 

 

Responsibilities/Tasks

  1. Content Creation: Develop high-quality and engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and infographics. Ensure content is relevant, resonates with the audience, and adheres to brand guidelines.
  2. Social Media Management: Assist in managing and curating content for social media platforms. Monitor social media trends, engage with followers, and help create a consistent online brand image.
  3. Engagement: Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful interactions. Build and nurture a positive online community around the brand.
  4. Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms in the social media landscape. Identify opportunities to leverage new features or channels.
  5. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media content and interactions reflect the brand's tone, voice, and visual identity consistently. 
  6. Audience Engagement: Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and questions on social media and other platforms, fostering meaningful interactions.
  7. Influencer Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and thought leaders in the industry. Collaborate with them to amplify brand messages and reach a wider audience.
