About the Job
 

This analytical and collaborative role is part of a team that audits, monitors and consults on HR Compliance & Regulatory programs and processes. This position works in sync with the HR Compliance team providing guidance, employee data support and ownership of at least one area of identified risk. 

Start/End Date is flexible.

What you will do

The HR Compliance Associate Intern will support the HR Compliance Specialist in a variety of tasks such as:

  • Employs HR Service Center (HRSC) case management, HRIS job change tasks, & routine auditing processes to identify trends, monitor the situation, and attempt to determine the root causes of risk.
  • Suggests innovative mitigation solutions and escalates opportunities to the appropriate HR partner(s), stakeholder(s), or vendor partner(s) for action.
  • Acts as an initial partner and resource to HR coworkers and enterprise clients for routine HR Regulatory questions and processes.
  • Researches and directly responds to routine HR Compliance questions.
  • Collaborates with appropriate cohorts to resolve more complex questions that may involve innovative compromises or allayed concessions
  • Process CPSL clearances in a timely and efficient manner
  • Routinely contacts employees that may seek assistance with completing the CPSL process
  • Research employee records in the term file room to resolve overflow
  • Subject matter expert for CPSL
  • Contact outside vendors to resolve or inquire employee status for specific CPSL action
     

Education

  • Required: High school diploma/GED

Experience

  • Required: Previous experience using data visualization (ex. tables, charts, graphs) to relay information to stakeholders to assist them in making innovative data-driven decisions and solutions.

  • Customer service orientation
  • Consultative skills and the ability to manage an enterprise-wide project involving multi-disciplinary clients
  • Ability to work efficiently despite competing demands or changing priorities.
  • Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all matters.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the proven ability to take initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities on time
  • Proficiency in problem analysis, issue resolution, planning and time management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup and other advanced functions and formulas).
