Dental Hygienist

As a holistic practice we use high quality products and top of the line technologies such as CBCT imaging, laser therapy, and ozone therapy. Our hygienists will not only treat periodontal disease but help to educate patients on diet, home care, supplements, sleep and airway health etc. You will find that every day will present new challenges and offer greater rewards as we treat each patient and their unique needs comprehensively.

Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth
- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
- Take dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care

Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Proficiency in Open Dental or similar practice management software
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
- Familiarity with infection control systems and protocols
- Ability to take vital signs and accurately record medical information
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health practices

- An interest in learning new therapies, technology, and research

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
