College of Business Computer Lab Student Assistant

An Entry-Level Computer Lab Student Assistant will be trained to provide support for all Faculty, Contract Professional, Staff and Students who have technology issues. These responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning Printers, Computers. It will also include maintaining the schedules for laptops and classroom usage. Work can also include software and hardware troubleshooting.

Exceptional Communication Skills are a preferred. A hard working student who is eager to learn.

Computer background preferred but not required.

Work Study is encouraged.

Basic Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 Operating System, MS Office, Computer Hardware and Computer Lab Environment are a plus.

All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
