Entry Level Civil Engineer/Landscape Architect
MSA is searching for an Entry Level Civil Engineer or Landscape Architect to join our team. If you’re a motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed, our expert team can help you take the next step in your career. This is a chance for you to touch all aspects of real estate development, from land acquisition and feasibility studies, to civil engineering design, all the way through site and building construction. We are a small firm, so all of our staff are heavily involved in all stages of design and development. MSA designs for our clients as well as ourselves, which gives you a unique opportunity to see the real estate development process from both sides. We're looking for a strong work ethic, clear ambition, and a desire to learn. We can teach you what you need to know from there! Pay will start at $34 per hour ($70,720 per year) and we provide a $3,000 signing bonus to cover your relocation costs.
Opportunities:
- Gain experience in a wide variety of project types (residential subdivision layout, commercial, industrial and mixed-use site design, infill redevelopment, etc.)
- Guide and follow projects through land planning, zoning, site design, permitting and construction.

Responsibilities:
- Work with a licensed Civil Engineer to deliver multi-faceted projects on time and within budget
- Revise plans based on redlined mark-ups
- Apply CAD expertise and skill in the development of detailed plan sets
- Complete field observation, inspections and data collection duties
- Communicate with clients and design team as directed by senior engineering staff
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS (if you can learn, we can teach you)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Determination to succeed
