Media Production Intern
Overview: We are seeking a motivated Production Intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to the end-to-end production process. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of production while working closely with industry professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for audio, post-production, and all aspects of content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all stages of production, from conception to completion, with a focus on improving and redefining processes.
- Contribute to the development and execution of creative treatments and production plans.
- Provide administrative support including booking, scheduling, and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Support producers with tasks such as casting, scheduling, and on-set assistance.
- Have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as photography and camera operation.
- Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality content for K-LOVE and Air1 platforms.
- Operate in a high-stress environment with small spaces and multiple team members, demonstrating excellent self-awareness and people skills.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree or recent graduate in communications, journalism, film and digital media, audio engineering, broadcast, or related fields.
- Strong interest and passion for production and the creative process.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting.
- Previous experience or coursework in production, audio engineering, or related fields is a plus.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time internship position.
- $16/hour
- Samples of previous work or portfolio are welcome but not mandatory.
