Mobile Applications Intern

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Applications Intern to join our team at Dorsett Controls. As a Mobile Applications Intern, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms tailored to meet the specific needs of our SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code to build and implement new mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Work closely with product management to create user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing mobile applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Qualifications

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or engineering.
  • Experience building mobile applications with Ionic Framework, NativeScript-Vue, or Capacitor mobile app framework.
  • Experience with developing mobile applications for Android and iOS.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C.
  • Familiar with software development methodologies and modern best practices.
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask and be self-paced to accomplish goals.
