Hospitality (Hotel) Interior Design Internship

POSITION Design Intern

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Maintain vendor rolodex and design library
  • Communicate with manufacturers and manufacturer reps for samples and product information
  • Manage vendor lunch and learns
  • Select interior finishes & furniture alongside design team
  • Compile and organize presentation materials for client presentations with the direction of the design team
  • Assemble interior finish boards according to IIG specifications
  • Understand client budgets and obtain pricing for FF&E selections
  • Complete finish schedules for each project
  • Follow IIG procedures for design process

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS

  • Space planning 
  • 3D modeling skills
  • Exemplary verbal, written and graphic communication skills
  • Strong listening skills and systematic approach to capturing critical information
