The Graduate Assistant for Tutoring Services is an opportunity for a qualified graduate student to assist with the planning and delivery of the Tutoring Services program. This position assists with the recruitment and training of Tutoring employees, assists with tutor/tutee matching, oversees lab shift changes, and contributes to goals/objectives and assessment of the program. The GA will establish an atmosphere open to meeting the reasonable expectations of students and ensuring high quality programs and services. The work will be delivered in a professional manner and in concert with State System and Kutztown University ethical standards. The GA will be a graduate student in Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, Education, or related area. Related undergraduate experience/involvement is preferred. Analytical skills, ability to be self-motivated and to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe preferred.

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per fall and spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per fall and spring semester.  Please contact Adam Troxel for additional information if needed at troxel@kutztown.edu.
