Social Work – Police Co-Responder, Education and Crisis Prevention Program Graduate Assistant

This position will be filled with a graduate student from social work, counseling, or public administration. The graduate assistant will be assigned to work on assessment and evaluation projects that fulfill the objectives of the Peer-to-Peer Support Services (PPSS) grant. Specifically, the student will participate in all aspects of needs assessment, planning, and data collection for a police co-responder, education and crisis prevention collaboration. Additionally, the student will participate in the development, revision, and implementation of data collection and reporting protocols for the grant partners. Skills required: MS Office, SurveyMonkey, writing ability. Driver’s license preferred.

This position is for 13.3 hours/week of work (200 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 6 graduate credits plus a stipend of $2,500 per semester.  Please contact John Vafeas for additional information if needed at vafeas@kutztown.edu.
