This position will focus on student outreach and record keeping related to Secondary Education undergraduate students’ work on Pre-Candidacy Field Experience (PCFE). PCFE refers to the first stage of field experience required for all undergraduate Sec Ed students. During PCFE, students are observers and/or participants in a variety of education-related settings. Our GA will reach out to students regularly via email with upcoming events and reminders to complete their hours. They will maintain an up to date list of student progress on PCFE. In addition, the GA will work with the department chair and assigned faculty on teaching, service, and research related projects.

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Mark Wolfmeyer for additional information if needed at wolfmeyer@kutztown.edu.
