Junior Interior Designer

Yacht Interior Design Firm looking for a Junior Interior Designer.

Responsibilities

Assisting Senior Partner on both residential and yacht interior projects.

Project scheduling and management as directed by Senior Designers.

Interacting with contractors.

Selecting and presenting materials and furnishings necessary for the project.

Calculating material take-offs on jobs when necessary.

Writing purchase orders and ordering materials.

Managing job files and emails.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design required.

Must learn how to read plans and calculate take-offs.

Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Attention to detail and good problem solving skills.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft office. Outlook, Word and Excel is a must.

AutoCad experience (3 years).

Knowledge of BlueBeam and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

Hand or digital rendering is also a plus.
