Graduate assistants in the Multicultural Center assist in all areas of Center programming, Center hours coverage, and general support of the events and activities of the Multicultural Center. The experience and skill needed: The Center encourages applicants from all areas; however, job duties and experiences most directly relate to academic course work in Student Affairs, Counseling, Public Administration, International Studies, and Education. Experience in Supervision, Conference AND Program Development, and Interest in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice focused PROGRAM Development. This position requires the assistant to research and develop programs that are inclusive of all groups and promote respect, civility, and an understanding and appreciation of multicultural-specific programs for Celebration months, including Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month, American Indian Heritage Month, African American History Month, Women's History Month, etcetera.

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Melinda Quinones for additional information if needed at quinones@kutztown.edu.
