Communications Intern

As a Communications Intern, you will collaborate closely with our communications team to assist in the development and execution of various marketing and communication strategies. Principal Duties
As the Communications Intern, you will:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events and outreach activities.
- Contribute to the design and production of marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and presentations.
- Support the Communications Director in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and tracking analytics.
- Help draft correspondence, reports, newsletters, and other written materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and assist in communication efforts.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to support marketing strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on communication strategies and campaigns.
Ideal Candidate
- Is currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Has a keen interest in event planning, marketing, and design work.
- Possesses strong writing and communication skills.
- Is proficient in using digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Has basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Is a proactive, creative thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Supplemental Information
This internship is open to students currently enrolled in a degree program relevant to the position or recent graduates. The position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and may require occasional travel to event locations. Interns must be able to commit to a minimum number of hours per week (to be determined based on availability and project needs - approximately 25-40 hours per week). The estimated length of this internship is 3-6 months, and it is set to begin in the middle of May (approximately May 13).
