Childcare Assistant Director

The mission of the YWCA Black Hawk County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The YWCA is seeking a creative, energetic person to assist in the development, provision, and supervision of childcare programming at multiple before-and-after school sites and full-day summer childcare programs.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in early childhood education, child development or a related field is preferred;
• and/or 3-5 years relevant experience including supervision, scheduling, program evaluation, and licensing or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Requires excellent communication and management skills with DEI experience a must.
• Must pass criminal and child abuse background checks.
