About us: Arts for Lawrence (AFL) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that connects arts and community to inspire everyone every day. Founded in 2006, AFL emerged as a response to the need for improving the cultural environment in Lawrence Township, Indiana. Located in the historic Theater at the Fort since 2015, we are the largest nonprofit arts organization in the City of Lawrence. We foster programming in visual arts, performing arts, and literary arts to reach underserved audiences, improve the local economy, and provide a sense of place for our diverse community members.
General Position Description: This position will support the programming efforts of Arts for Lawrence through assisting in stage technology, Box office management, and videography, and editing.
Job Responsibilities Attend weekly staff meetings on Tuesdays Run sound and lighting equipment for productions Assist with box office duties Assist with videography for online productions Assist with video editing Assist in the development of the 2021 programming calendar Hosting virtual programming
