Accounting Intern

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Intern to assist the Senior Accountant in preparing financial reports and entering data into the accounting system.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with the Sr. Accountant to define accounting goals and processes.
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statements.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including processing accounts receivable.
- Review invoice for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Complete job cost analysis.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of General Ledger.
- Effective communication skills and ability to understand basic accounting principles clearly in daily tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Duration
- This is a part-time position averaging 40 hours per month.
