City of Webster Groves - Information Technology Intern

The City of Webster Groves is seeking an intern with an interest in Information Technology and municipal government services. The Webster Groves Information Technology internship will offer valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of Information processes and services. The Information Intern could assist with items such as providing administrative support to Information Technology staff; apply standard IT techniques & procedures on various projects; analyze data & reports; investigate errors & propose problem solutions; interpret user/system requirements into design specifications; assist with infrastructure support; assist in designing system specifications & interfaces for interacting components; assist in designing and developing applications to functional and technical standards; assist with deployment of application releases into production; assist in implementation of new or improved systems and processes, etc. Qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent and must be currently enrolled in college coursework in Information Technology. Ideal candidates will have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, currently completing Bachelor level Information Technology coursework, attention to detail, ability to climb stairs, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to work 15 hours per week minimum.
