Program Development Coordinator

As the Program Development Coordinator, the VISTA member will: Promote food security through our existing programs and developing our Garden Project. Create and assist a development committee to address long-term fundraising to financially support FOCUS. Support the expansion of a new endeavor: the FOCUS Outreach Program by assisting the Outreach Coordinator with the formation of a Guests Leadership Council (comprised of people whom we serve at our food pantries and soup kitchen). Recruit and retain new volunteers who are not affiliated with FOCUS congregations by promoting volunteer opportunities with downtown community groups and neighborhood organizations. As an AmeriCorps VISTA you will dedicate a full year to national service at a local organization.
