Graphic Design Internship

Hello there! Welcome to Story Leaf, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and engaging global audiences on critical socio-political health issues through the power of entertainment media. 
 

Come aboard Story Leaf as a Graphic Design Intern and be a key player in bringing our mission to the world! We're on the lookout for a creative, detail-focused person who knows their way around Adobe Creative Suite, excels in both print and digital design, and has a knack for executing marketing strategies. Join our team to help shape our brand identity, keep things on-brand, and work together on various exciting projects that push our mission ahead. 

 

Job Duties: 

  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, to create compelling visual assets for both print and digital platforms.
  • Support marketing initiatives through the conceptualization and execution of engaging designs that align with our brand identity and mission.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative strategies and campaigns aimed at raising awareness and promoting educational content.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all design materials while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Receive and implement creative direction effectively, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to iterate based on feedback.
  • Contribute to web design projects, enhancing user experience and visual appeal.
  • Experience in After Effects and Lightroom, although not required, is valued for the potential to bring multifaceted design skills to our team.

Qualifications: 

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in print and digital design, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in marketing strategy execution and campaign conceptualization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, receiving and implementing feedback effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Bonus: Experience in web design and/or After Effects and Lightroom.
  • Minimum of 20hrs a week
