We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Process Mechanical Engineering Intern Intern to join our EXTON PA office.

Our Internship Program is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.
How will you contribute to the team?
- Perform basic drafting in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit) to acquire the necessary CAD skills and applicable software knowledge to support the technical services of the company.
- Work with Navisworks and point cloud data to assist in designs and perform clash checks.
- Learn about manufacturing processes.
- Assist with the development of equipment arrangement plans and factory flows of materials, equipment and people.
- Acquire knowledge of P&ID development and piping layout design.
- Develop 3D modeling of equipment using AutoCAD 3D.
- Assist design team with the generation of construction drawings, plans, sections, and details.
- Work with the design team in option analysis and solutions to design challenges.
- Become acquainted with building codes and standards.
- Project site visits to assist Engineer with surveys.
- Complete Quality Management Training and comply with the program upholding a commitment to a culture of quality in all aspects of work.
What will you contribute?
- EXPERIENCE: Not expected. Any manufacturing exposure is a plus.
- EDUCATION: Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- SPECIAL SKILLS: Microsoft Excel and Word, Good interpersonal skills, Capable of technical writing, Good communications skills, AutoCAD or Revit is a plus
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Not expected
