Front of House Team Member - Summer & Fall 2024 - Work Study or Regular Pay

Job description

Young Auditorium, a professional performing arts center located on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus, seeks students to be a part of the Front of House team. The position is responsible for assisting customers, ushering events, and maintaining the Young Auditorium lobby and seating area. This position is for Summer & Fall 2024

Responsibilities include:

Set up and take down of tables, chairs, and decorations for events

Sell concessions and touring company merchandise at performances

Collect tickets for events

Greet and direct patrons

Assist guests to seat location

Maintain cleanliness of the Auditorium

Possible office work includes filing, calling, and reservations

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

Quick learner

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Hours:

Day time, evening & weekend hours.
