Weekly News Writer Intern

In this position you'll take 1 shift per week. (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Each shift you'll write five stories of 300 words. You'll be sent your stories around noon on the day you write (Monday and Friday) or on Friday (Saturday and Sunday). The Monday and Friday writers have until midnight of the day they're assigned to get the stories done. Weekend writers will have more time, able to start their stories Friday and either save a draft or schedule the stories for the day their assigned (ideally spacing them out throughout the morning of that day if scheduling them). They can also work on the stories the day off, so long as they're published by midnight that night.
