Get ready to jumpstart a career with impact. Learn in-demand digital marketing skills using Shopify, Google AdWords and Instagram Ads.
The Digital Marketing Program starts on May 27, 2024 and concludes on August 4, 2024.

Application Information: You MUST apply through Handshake. All applications will be reviewed and students notified of their acceptance to the program.
Applications must include a Resume and and essay with your answer to the following question:
Question: What is one thing you would like to learn by taking global tech program course?
PROGRAM DETAILS:
- Students from all backgrounds are welcome.
- There are no tests and all work is open-world, just like the real world.
- Lectures are flexible and will take place online.
- You will then attend virtual live discussions, LiveLabs, with your classmates and instructor each week.
- Your time commitment: Roughly 10 hours per week over 10 weeks.
Program Schedule
LIVE LABS: (participation required)
- Wednesday and Friday from 4pm - 5:30pm EST
OR
- Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm-8:30 EST
Accepted participants will be asked to select which Live Lab session they want to attend. You will be expected to attend that Live Lab time through the completion of the program (attendance is taken).
NOTE: Through the generosity of the Marquis Parents' Council and in conjunction with the Dyer Center and the Gateway Career Center, this bootcamp is being offered at NO COST to you. (Cost of bootcamp is $1500 per student)
**If you are accepted for the program, full participation in the 10-week bootcamp is expected. If you do NOT complete the bootcamp in its entirety, you will be charged $200

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
COURSE 1: ECOMMERCE MARKETING WITH SHOPIFY
"Intro” is an understatement. From Day 1, you'll learn how to design and build online stores, attract and engage an audience, increase conversion rates through A/B testing and apply best practices in UI/UX design to convert visitors from around the world into customers.
After this course, you’ll:
- Design and build an online store.
- Find, attract and engage a worldwide audience through digital marketing best practices.
- Learn how to turn a profit by increasing conversion rates through A/B testing.
- Gain experience with intercultural training used by the UN
- Receive a Shopify Specialist Certification and Ecommerce Badge for LinkedIn.
COURSE 2: SOCIAL MEDIA AND SEARCH MARKETING
Social Media is a Digital Marketer’s playground for finding new customers and keeping past ones. Using Google, Instagram and Facebook Ads managing platforms, you’ll gain the skills top companies use to target and acquire new customers. The cool kids call it "growth marketing."
After this course you’ll:
- Accelerate your career with marketing skills.
- Build a portfolio of Google and Meta Ad campaigns with behavior and demographic targeting.
- Learn social media tactics to build brand presence on Instagram and TikTok.
- Gain experience with intercultural training used by the UN
- Receive a Digital Marketing Certificate and Badge for LinkedIn.
