IXL Center, together with LISC Massachusetts, will be launching the social-impact SME accelerators, sponsored by the US Congress, on June 2024. We are currently looking for Graduate and Senior students to support these SMEs in finding 2X growth opportunities for their businesses by nurturing their current core business strategies.

Kindly be aware that this program does not qualify as a formal internship. Rather, it offers an opportunity for experimental learning. 

The SME Accelerator is a 7-week competition that boosts companies from different industries to strengthen their core business, grow their capacity, and double their revenue. This strategic growth is assisted by expert consultants using a proven methodology that has helped over +100 companies worldwide.

This volunteering opportunity will immerse you in real-life consulting experience and create a better society by leveraging wellness.

Join to:

  • Help  small and medium businesses by using skills to gain tangible results quickly
  • Get real consulting experience working directly with business owners
  • Learn by doing - use proven methodology on how to generate growth

Preferred skills:

  • Takes ownership of responsibilities and sees them through to completion to answer client’s needs
  • Exhibits strong time-management skills by consistently meeting deadlines for deliverables
  • Possesses good presentation skills, both verbal and visual
  • Works effectively with team members to achieve common goals and enhance overall team performance

 

Requirements:

  • Open to undergraduate students in their last years of studies
  • Open to MBA/master's students/senior
  • Duration: 7-week program
  • Online

 

How to apply:

  • Form a Team: teams must consist of 2-3 members with the availability to dedicate 10-15 hours weekly per team.
