Writing and Content Creation Internship (8776955)

Join the dynamic team at WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics as a Writing and Content Creation Intern! This internship offers a unique opportunity to hone your writing skills and gain hands-on experience in content creation within a prestigious academic setting. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Write and post engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website articles, blogs, and newsletters.

• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop content that showcases the college's programs, events, and achievements.

• Edit and proofread written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Assist in the creation of marketing copy for a variety of uses such as brochures, flyers, social media posts, and promotional emails.

• Assist in keeping the Chambers websites up to date and accurate.

Experience:

• Enrolled in a writing, journalism, communications, or related program.

• Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.

• Experience with content creation for digital platforms, including websites and social media.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Passion for writing and storytelling, with a desire to develop and refine your writing skills.

• Strong research skills and ability to gather information from multiple sources.

• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for content.
