Graphic Design Internship (8776868)

Join the dynamic team at WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics as a Graphic Design Intern! As part of our innovative environment, you'll have the responsibility of crafting graphics for the print needs, social media, websites, and the Infostations and Media Wall in Reynolds Hall. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting while contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our college community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and create graphics for Infostations located throughout Reynolds Hall.

• Develop visually engaging content for the Media Wall, showcasing the latest news, events, and achievements within the college.

• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure graphics accurately represent the college's brand and messaging.

• Assist in brainstorming creative concepts for various projects and initiatives within the college.

• Work closely with the Strategic Communications team to meet design objectives and deadlines.

Experience:

• Enrolled in a graphic design program or related field.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills (applications without a portfolio will not be accepted).

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design principles and techniques.

• Ability to interpret design briefs and execute creative concepts.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, layout, and color theory.

• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design trends.
