Translation Proofreader Summer Intern

TO APPLY

  • See below for details on the internship.

Description

Our Translation Proofreader Interns help to improve the language accessibility of the free InReach App (the world's first tech platform matching LGBTQ+ people facing persecution or discrimination with safe, verified resources).

For translation, InReach uses a combination of crowdsourced and automated translations. Unlike most sites which rely exclusively on automated translation (e.g., Google Translate), Crowdin allows real people to verify (and edit as needed) machine-generated translations to ensure accuracy, cultural competence, and inclusivity.
