Architect

In its pursuit of excellence, LD&D is on the lookout for a Lead Architect experienced in high-end residential and commercial projects. This role is central to LD&D's commitment to meet the expectations of the most discerning clients in South Florida. 

As a Lead Architect at LD&D, you will engage with a broad spectrum of projects, immersing yourself in the design, documentation, and construction phases. Responsibilities 

Oversee daily project progress to ensure precise milestone achievement and adherence to deadlines. 

 

Provide guidance to project managers and interior designers to enhance team performance and project output. 

 

Serve as the primary communication point, facilitating collaboration between management, clients, consultants, and contractors. 

 

Review shop drawings and project documents to ensure compliance with all standards and regulations. 

 

Manage the preparation and synchronization of construction documents, incorporating revisions to ensure accuracy. 

 

Participate in both the conceptualization and detailed documentation processes of design. 

 

Analyze program structure and spatial planning and perform area calculations to guide design decisions. 

 

Work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team, to adhere to project budgets and schedules. 

 

Develop and coordinate presentation materials to effectively communicate design concepts to clients. 

 

Address and troubleshoot production issues as they arise, which may include site visits or client meetings when necessary. 

 

Responsible for leading and mentoring Interior Designers, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development. 

 

Requirements 

 

- A professional degree in Architecture is required. 

- Current Architecture Licensure is mandatory. 

- A minimum of 5 years of continuous professional work experience in the field. 

- Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization is a must, specifically with expertise in Revit and AutoCAD. 

Strong proficiency in production software, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and SketchUp, is strongly preferred. 

- Comprehensive experience across all phases of architectural projects is expected. 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. 

- The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. 

- A collaborative and professional work ethic is required. 

- A strong desire to lead and excel in a fast-paced, client-centric, and challenging work environment is crucial.
