As a Part-time Cost Engineer, you will play an essential role within our fast-paced organization supporting our Pre-Construction Management team. You will be expected to deliver results within a deadline-driven environment. The perfect fit for this position is a highly organized self-starter with a great attitude who is willing and able to effectively gather information, create documentation related to bids and projects, and present to team for review and execution.
Cost Engineer Responsibilities
- Reviewing, reading, interpreting construction plans
- Creating bid template documents
- Drafting project scopes of work
- Interpreting information on bid documents to transfer to leveling documents
- Drafting revisions, addressing questions and editing as necessary for contractor bids
Cost Engineer Qualifications
- Junior or senior in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
- Google Suite experience desired
- Strong computer skills
Fully remote.
This position works approximately 15 hours/week.
