Model Based Systems Engineer
The MBSE Engineer will provide architecture and mission engineering input and expertise to technical development processes with the assistance of senior mission engineers. Position includes working with a wide variety of operational and technical organizations and utilizing integrated tools (e.g., architecture, modeling & simulation) to develop a holistic understanding of operational problems and how given technologies and technology concepts impact overall Fleet & Joint readiness. You will support both M&S and architecture development efforts in support of M41 tasking. Training in mission engineering principles is provided as tasking evolves.
Desired Skills include:
- Experience designing and developing Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools
- Knowledge of analysis and problem solving techniques necessary to perform professional scientific/engineering work
- Experience in the functional decomposition of systems
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo/Magic Draw
Candidates should be pursuing or have obtained a B.S. or greater in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering or related engineering field.
