Marketing Intern
We are a new retail store in Downtown Plymouth, Massachusetts, looking for a Marketing Intern to help us assess, create, and implement a marketing strategy for both local brick & mortar and e-commerce.
EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assess Current Marketing Strategy:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current marketing strategies for both the retail store and e-commerce website.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current campaigns and channels.
- Identify areas for improvement and growth.
2. Develop New Marketing Strategy:
- Collaborate with Owner to develop innovative and impactful marketing strategies.
- Propose new ideas and initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create a well-defined strategy that aligns with the overall business goals.
3. Instagram Marketing:
- Manage and curate content for the store's Instagram account.
- Develop and implement Instagram marketing campaigns to increase followers and engagement.
4. Email Marketing:
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and product launches.
- Segment and target the email audience for personalized and effective communication.
- Analyze email campaign performance and make data-driven improvements.
5. TikTok Marketing:
- Explore and leverage TikTok as a marketing channel for the retail store and e-commerce platform.
- Develop creative and engaging TikTok content to showcase products and brand personality.
6. Analytics and Reporting:
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Use data insights to optimize strategies and achieve better results.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic graphic design tools.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and a quick learner.
- Interested in Brick & Mortar or Retail Store operations.
