Spanish Teacher

Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Spanish Teacher.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spanish language as well as a passion for teaching and supporting students. 

Responsibilities include:

·        planning and delivering effective and engaging Spanish language lessons

·        assessing and monitoring student progress

·        providing timely feedback to students and their families

·        creating an inclusive classroom environment

·        effectively collaborating with colleagues

·        providing opportunities to engage students outside of the classroom

Qualifications

Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in Foreign Language, with fluency in Spanish. 

Compensation

The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position.  Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $48,724 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits.
