Engineering Intern

Position Title: Engineering Intern

Role

Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the Production Engineering group functions, including analysis of tower structures, development of industry/company standards and the creation/maintenance of software tools.

Responsibilities

  •  Assist Crown Castle engineers in the development of engineering standards, analysis and training tools and data tracking tools.
  •  Provide support for multiple projects working closely with licensed and non-licensed engineers.
  •  Create and distribute correspondence relevant to the team, project or program (internal and external).
  •  Maintain accurate and complete files for projects and programs; monitor for integrity and accuracy.
  •  Adhere to corporate financial processes and procedures to ensure SOX compliance
  •  Participate in meetings.

Education/Certifications

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026
  •  Preferred field(s) of study: Civil/Structural Engineering

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  •  Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 3 to August 9, 2024
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship

Reports to: Production Engineering Manager

Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
