We are currently looking for a Biomedical Engineering/Natural Materials Engineering Intern at our Exton, PA facility.

 

Internships begin the first week of June through the second week of August.

Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (40 hours per week; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm)

Pay Rate: $25.00/Hour

*Potential to become a full-time position*

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with conducting synthesis and testing experiments to advance developmental projects through chemical / polymer synthesis, formulation development, material processing, and/or characterization.
  • Independently test the materials.
  • Analyze the data and prepare reports.
  • Maintain a detailed laboratory notebook and accord records according to GLP guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

You Bring:

  • Currently pursuing a MS Degree or Post Doc in polymer science and engineering, materials science and engineering, analytical chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in materials processing and testing (for example, polymer materials synthesis & purification, polymeric materials processing & characterization, natural materials processing & characterization, protocol development and execution, etc.).
  • Highly-developed skills working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • General computer literacy (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally at a technical level.
  • Self-starting and responsible work attitude with a strong drive for results.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Actively seeking to assist team members in accomplishing tasks and leading new initiatives.
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time (40 hour per week) for 12 weeks beginning on June 3, 2024 – August 16, 2024 at our Exton, PA facility.
