IT Operations Internship
What We Need
NetBrain Technologies is seeking current students that will assist the IT department with day-to-day operations and special projects. This dynamic environment will provide the individual with a wide variety of technologies and solutions in a high-growth, global Network Automation company. This is a 40 hour per week M-F internship ON-SITE in Burlington, MA. Must be able to commute. Internship starts in May and is approximately 8 months.
What You'll Do
- Provision and deploy Windows and Mac laptops to meet end-user requirements effectively.
- Perform setup and configuration of peripherals for end-users, including but not limited to mouse, keyboard, monitor, docking station, and other essential peripherals, while also managing Confluence and meeting room setups to ensure smooth operations.
- Investigate and resolve IT/Security incidents logged within our ticketing system while fostering collaboration with fellow team members.
- Oversee the corporate infrastructure, encompassing systems such as Active Directory, CrowdStrike, Zoom, MS Intune, VMware ESXi, Office 365, AWS, Azure, Confluence, among others.
- Conduct thorough investigations and implement solutions for threats identified by CrowdStrike Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics to ensure effective mitigation.
Who You Are
- Must be pursuing a BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information System, or related field.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience with Windows, MacOS and Linux.
- Basic knowledge of office productivity applications (Active Directory, CrowdStrike, Zoom, MS Intune, VMware ESXi, Office 365, Confluence, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, VPN, etc.
- Familiar with Office 365 Security and Compliance Centers is a plus.
- Experience in managing device configurations, policies, and application deployments using Microsoft Intune for endpoint management in a corporate environment would be considered a strong asset.
