The incredible Operations Labeling Group in Branchburg, NJ is a team of vibrant and creative individuals who bring the perfect blend of expertise and passion to their work!

 

Imagine a group of talented professionals who thrive on the challenge of creating and maintaining informative and highly-regulated labeling documentation for Roche Molecular Systems (RMS) In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products. They are the masters of following regulations and legal requirements, turning the “must haves” into informative “labels” for customers.

 

The Operations Labeling team ensures that every detail contained on the labeling documents [cartons, vial labels, Instructions for Use (IFUs), etc.] is carefully considered, in order to meet the diverse requirements of the multitude different countries across the world where the diagnostic tests are distributed.

 

In 2023 alone, the Labeling group supported over 1000 updates and new labeling for product launches!

 

This internship position is located in Branchburg, NJ, onsite/hybrid.  

 

Key Responsibilities

 

A component content management system (CCMS) is a system that allows the management of content at a component rather than at the document level, allowing teams to author, manage, and share content. Such a system provides an audit trail of component versions, and the metadata associated with each.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the harmonization of content across RMS IFUs, and where possible, across sites
  • Importing IFUs into CCMS and appropriately styling the content to align with the source document
  • Creating a guiding document which will help future users harmonize content and import documents more efficiently

 

Program Highlights

  • Intensive 12-weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship
  • Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
  • A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship
  • Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects
  • Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry

 

Who You Are

  • Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
  • Attained a Bachelor's Degree
  • Pursuing a Master's Degree
  • Attained a Master's Degree
  • Required majors: Technical writer, Scientific discipline, technical writing, or other related technical field
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat,  Smartsheets, and/or Google products
  • Strong proofreading skills and ability to think critically
  • Eager to learn and able to apply knowledge quickly, while working both independently and with teams
  • Professional working proficiency in English language

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent technical writing skills and knowledge of desktop publishing applications; experience with a CCMS
  • Motivated to take over special assignments in addition to managing daily work tasks
