Calgon Carbon Corporation is currently looking for a dynamic, motivated college student for our 2024 Internship program which is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2024.
Position: Audit & Compliance Intern
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA
Hours of work: Full-time position with hours generally Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM

Overview
Our internship program provides real-world experience enabling future professionals the ability to apply what they are learning in school, to applicable situations in a career field they are pursuing. This internship program helps interns gain additional skills that can be applied to future jobs.
The Audit & Compliance Intern will support the global internal audit and compliance function at Calgon Carbon Corporation. Exposure to operational audits as well as company compliance initiatives will be part of this position. The Audit & Compliance Intern will interact with several global areas, including but not limited to, business units, Accounting and Finance Department and the IT area.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Perform audit procedures for follow-up audits
Assist with interim controls testing
Participate in the annual process walk throughs
Assist with anticorruption and antitrust initiatives
Assist with the integration of the European operations policies and procedures into the existing policies and procedures database
Performs other duties as assigned
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and characteristics
The successful intern will be able to comfortably interact with other departments and various levels of management
The intern should demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
Computer skills, integrity and being detail oriented are other skills that will help the intern have a successful experience at Calgon Carbon
Relevant Fields of Study - Working towards a bachelor’s degree in:
Accounting or Finance
Qualifications
All applicants must be authorized to work in the US
Candidates must be willing to comply with pre-employment testing and background check
The candidate should have good oral and written communication skills
Experience with using Excel and Word in a non-academic setting
