2024 Summer Intern - DSX Commercialization

Job Description

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be onsite full-time, but the expectation is that the employee be on-site Tuesday – Thursday each week.

About Digital Services & Experiences Team

Our objective is to accelerate software, digital and ecommerce services to deliver revenue growth, build transformational products and services, and lead the industry in NPS and CSAT.

We pioneer and build innovative products, services and experiences that move and connect people to what matters

About the Internship:

During your internship you will be aligned with a digital services and experiences team where you will work directly with our internal customers, business owners, and stakeholders to help evolve our sales experiences. As the Commercialization Intern, you will support OnStar’s Go-To-Market team and may work on the following initiatives.  

Drive growth of existing and new services within OnStar’s portfolio

Promote connected services and in-vehicle technologies  

Support subscription business model 

Expand sales partnerships

Support the expansion of connectivity and conversion of existing GM car parc

 

 

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of an MBA or a rising senior in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a business program with a preferred focus on marketing, sales, strategy, management, or operations
  • Able to work full-time: 40 hours per week during the summer months

  • High proficiency in business tools (Microsoft Suite, Miro, etc.)
  • Consistently seeks clarity and has flawless communication skills

 

The monthly salary range for this role is $4,100-$6,700, dependent upon class status and degree.

Benefits:​ Benefit options are not available for this role.

Student Stipend: GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2024 Student Program.

Start Date: This position has a planned start date of May/June 2024.
