Feed Mill Internship
Organizes feed deliveries, feed blending, delivery truck loading; checks feed formulas for correct ingredients, tests samples and weighs ingredients; samples outgoing feed, ensures proper inventories; operates the grain dryer; maintains rodent and insect collection; produces reports and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Working on a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or trade school studies that relate to the job at hand.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. The employee must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. The employee must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, the employee must also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid driver’s license is required for this position. A forklift certification is required if a forklift is used.

While performing the duties of this job the employee operates a feed batching system, calculator, computer, fax machine, copy machine, telephone, and other equipment as needed
