Looking for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in firmware engineering? We are seeking a Firmware Engineering Intern for the Capacity Enterprise Hard Disk Drive Recording Sub-Systems HDI Firmware group. You'll be responsible for developing real-time firmware code for head-disk interface spacing control and manufacturing firmware to optimize control parameters. You will also develop firmware features that increase device capacity while improving reliability performance and cost. Join our team of experienced engineers and make a real impact on the industry!
Qualifications
- Full time college student working toward BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related degree.
- Expected graduation between December 2024 - June 2025 preferred.
- Fluency with programming languages such as C/C++/Python
- Demonstrated expertise or course knowledge in structured code development and debug
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a multi-site agile development team
- Excellent problem-solving, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
