Nuclear Operations Summer 2024 Internship

Reporting to the CAT A Operations Manager, you will shadow several Advanced Test Reactor Process and Utility operators to learn the job responsibilities of these positions. Monitor reactor plant equipment to provide surveillance of plant equipment operation directed toward detection and prevention of failures.
- Maintain accurate and clear logbooks, records, and data log sheets.
- Perform shift turnovers.
- Use human performance tools.
- Demonstrate a questioning attitude.
- Use Conduct of Operations.
This team works a 4x10 schedule and works onsite at our Advance Test Reactor located near Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Qualifications - External
- 1st year or 2nd year of vocational/technical enrolled full time at an accredited college/university
- Must be enrolled a Energy System Technology Program
- A minimum overall (3.0) GPA
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:
- Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)
- Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)
- PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)
- Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
