Internship Overview:

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business analysis functions within our organization. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with experienced professionals, participate in projects, and develop essential skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication.

This position provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of business analysis, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop skills that will be valuable in future professional endeavors.

Essential Job Functions

  • Data Analysis:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights into business performance.
    • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or other data analysis software to manipulate and visualize data.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements.
    • Document and articulate business processes, user stories, and functional requirements.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
    • Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate and deliver regular reports to stakeholders, presenting key findings and actionable recommendations.
    • Contribute to the development of dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex information.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments to understand their goals and challenges.
    • Foster effective communication between business and technical teams.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
    • Contribute to project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to business processes, requirements, and project activities.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Actively participate in training sessions and learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in business analysis.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as SQL or Excel functions, is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8 hrs/day.
