Overview

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
Responsible for leading the development of data integration solutions, data modeling, and ETL processes. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data in the data warehouse, as well as providing technical guidance and support to other members of the team.

 

Pay range: starting at $94,500/yr

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
▪Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise data sources and warehouse.
▪Develops and maintains ETL processes.
▪Develops and maintains data integration solutions utilizing industry best practice and tools, i.e., Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Microsoft Purview.
▪Collaborates directly with ESSC IT leadership and EDW team members.
▪Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data in the data warehouse.
▪Develops and maintains data models, data governance policies and procedures.
▪Provides technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
▪Collaborates with EDW Business Analyst and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
▪Participates in IT and external data audits as directed.
▪Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
▪Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

 

EXPERIENCE:
▪3+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence
▪Experience in a healthcare environment or non-profit preferred.
▪Microsoft Azure experience desirable.
▪Demonstrated experience in SDLC, ELT, data modeling and data architecture.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
▪Experience with ETL tools and process
▪Strong experience sourcing, modeling and analyzing both structured and unstructured data using tools like SQL, Python and other industry data modeling tools.
▪Strong background in data warehousing and business intelligence, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data warehouses.
▪Strong experience with data integration solutions.
▪Experience with data governance policies and procedures.
▪Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
▪Able to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
▪Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.

▪Ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
▪Ability to exercise discretion, demonstrate good judgement, and maintain a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
▪Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration.
