Job Description

We are looking for a Summer Intern 2024 to join our Broadcast Engineering team to work on the design, verification, and validation of digital logic, system-on-chip and signal processing components for CMOS integrated circuits in automotive radio applications.

 

Job Responsibilities

Design and verify digital logic using synthesizable Verilog HDL for large system-on-chip designs with multiple embedded processors, digital signal processors, and dedicated DSP hardware for baseband and audio processing. Create tests for block-level and chip-level verification, and document your designs for firmware programmers and customers. Validate the designs on silicon. Work with software and applications engineers, place & route engineers, and product/test engineers to complete the chip design, validate the designs on silicon and create production tests for the designs.

 

Requirements

Working towards an M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering

Focus on digital logic design of CMOS integrated circuits

Verilog and SystemVerilog languages (RTL and behavioral)

Knowledge of logic synthesis and timing analysis

DSP experience in baseband or audio processing is helpful

Understanding of embedded system-on-chip architecture

Scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and Unix C shell

‘C’ programming language
